Training for the Horse and Rider

Lessons

Our certified instructors are willing to teach you the basics of riding and caring for you horse as well they will see you safely on your way in the show ring whether it be in the hunter or jumper ring. 

A standard lesson program for a show student would consist of 1 semi-private or private lesson / week and 1 theory class along with 1 group ride for $64.00 / week.  Group rides will consists of no more than 3 riders of equal skills.  This lesson package offers a $10.00 weekly discount.

Specialized  Ten Week Theory Courses offered in Grooming, Jumping Theory, Horse Care, etc.

* Fees list above are for lessons with Sadie Turko. Please inquire about lessons with other Sunrise Meadows coaches as fees may vary.

** There is an arena fee of $15 for the indoor and $10 for the outdoor ring for all trailer-ins.  Please arrange with Sadie. 

Horse Training

    Our head trainer, Crystal is in charge of all training and exercising. She specializes in the starting of young horses as well as taking them into the show ring for you. In this way, the owner can take over in the show ring once the horse has gained its confidence. 

Crystal also starts many young horses for the track. The fee is $500.00 plus a stall fee.

There may be a working student lunging or hacking your horse on occasion. All training (both dressage and jumping) is done by Crystal.
